Village Song, Devonport
Village Song (around 35 members) started in August 2016.
All are welcome, and many discover new found confidence in their voice through participating in the group.
My goal for the choir is that everyone in the group feels included and accepted, and that as we sing together
we create joy, have FUN and co-create community.
You choose your level of participation in the choir - for those who feel inclined, there will be opportunity to sing in small
groups, or to solo.
The choir repertoire includes songs from a wide range of countries and styles. We will learn African, Gospel,
Pop, Maori and Pacific, Taize, doo wop and more. We perform several times a year, either putting on our own concerts or
singing at events.
