4 string festival. October 6 – 8, Kawhia
If you like Paul Jonson’s uke boogie/blues style playing (and who doesn’t?) then you will love this weekend. “Immerse yourself in Folk, Blues, Boogie, Ragtime, Cajun, Swing…………”. Featured artists include Manitoba Hal from Canada. “As a master of the ukulele…he bangs, plucks and squeezes every ounce of emotion and groove from the 4 strings, only leaving room for deep blues to prevail”. Paul will, of course run workshops and perform also amidst others. There’s another chance to learn UBass and just spend a delicious weekend surrounded by stars and your ukey mates.
